
Your palette will crave a “Brie-tiful” indulgence paired with our signature Red Onion Relish for long after.
The simple finger food recipe will cover it all—sweet, savory & tangy.
Ingredients:
- 1 wheel of brie cheese, cold
- 2 tbsp The Misfits Red Onion Relish
- Olive oil, to lightly brush
- Crackers, sliced baguette, apples/pears (for serving on the side)
- Chopped herbs (basil/thyme/parsley/oregano)
For the roasted tomatoes:
- 350 g cherry tomatoes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- A few sprigs of thyme
- 1 garlic bulb, halved
- Salt and pepper (to season)
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- Add the tomatoes, olive oil, thyme, and garlic to a roasting tray. Season well and roast for 30–35 minutes until the tomatoes blister and start to burst. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Lightly brush the brie with olive oil and place it in a hot pan. Toast for about 5 minutes until it softens slightly.
- To serve, place the brie in the center of a platter. Add 2 tbsp of The Misfits Red Onion Relish on top. Arrange the roasted tomatoes around the brie and garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve with crackers, sliced baguette, and fruit like apples or pears.
