INGREDIENTS

  • Puff pastry
  • The Misfits Pesto
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 150 g Feta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Sesame seeds

METHOD

  1. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Add the garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. Spread the slice of puff pastry with The Misfits Pesto.
  3. Drain the excess juice from the tomatoes and place them on the dough.
  4. Finally, sprinkle the whole dough with crumbled feta cheese.
  5. Roll up the dough on the longer side and transfer to a baking sheet with baking paper.
  6. Make light cuts in the dough with a knife and form a wreath.
  7. Brush the braid with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 170β€―Β°C.
  9. After baking, let cool and serve.
