Potato chops with The Misfits Red Onion Relish

In this blog, we're transforming humble potatoes into a culinary masterpiece. Our Red Onion Relish Potatoes are a perfect example of how simple ingredients can create something extraordinary.
Ingredients:

  • 600 gms potatoes, boiled and peeled
  • 3 tbsp butter for shallow frying
  • 3 tbsp rice flour
  • 3 tbsp bread crumbs
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Red chili flakes, as per taste
  • 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese (grated)
  • 4 tbsp The Misfits Red Onion Relish

Method:

  1. Wash and boil potatoes until tender. Peel them.
  2. Add salt, red chili flakes and rice flour to the peeled potatoes, then mash.
  3. Dust your palm with flour and make small balls from the mashed mixture.
  4. Mix The Misfits Red Onion Relish with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Make small cavities in the potato balls, fill them with the relish and cheese mixture.
  6. Cover the edges and roll the filled balls in bread crumbs.
  7. Heat butter in a non-stick pan and shallow fry the chops until golden brown.

Enjoy with green chutney, mustard, or between sandwiches.
